ET ØYEBLIKK FRA TAKETS UTSIKT er et stedsspesifikt verk for Refstad barneskole, som skal gi lommer av tid til og se og skape ro til barnas skolehverdag.

De integrerte verkene kan sees som to versjoner fra samme utsikt. Komposisjonene er bygget opp med horisontale linjer i kalde og varme fargetoner. Min intensjon er å skape mest mulig romvirkning og lys inn i korridoren.Fra aktivitetsrommet ser man ut på en vegg av blåtoner som skal gi barna en følelse av nærhet til uteområdet som omringer skolen. Fargekomposisjonen på den andre siden kan også sees fra utsiden og inn, gjennom en glassdør ser man inn på fargene som gjenspeiler  seg på utsiden. Den røde skolebygningen, himmelen og utsikten. 

Jeg ser korridorens form som et landskapsformat i to versjoner hvor lyset skifter fra lysere mot mørkere fargetoner, som beskriver lyset om morgen og lyset fra ettermiddagen.  Akryl direkte på vegg (47 x 26 m).

THE MOMENT OF A VIEW FROM THE ROOF is a site-specific composition made for Refstad Children School, aimed at creating islands of time and rest in the everyday life of the children.

The integrated artworks can be perceived as two interpretations of the same view. Using Cold and warm nuances to build a composition consisting of horizontal lines. My intention is to create as much space and light into the corridor as possible. From the activity room a wall in shades of blue can be seen - to help children associate with the outside surrounding the school. The colour composition on the opposite side can be viewed from the outside. Through a glass door you look in to the colours that also are reflected outside, The red school building, the sky and the view.

I perceive the shape of the corridor as two studies of a landscape in which the light changes from bright towards darker tones. The light of morning and afternoon.Acrylic directly on wall (47 x 26 m).
